Bernardo Hees is Chief Executive Officer of The Kraft Heinz Company. Prior to the merger of Kraft Foods Group and the H.J. Heinz Company in 2015, Mr. Hees had been with the H.J. Heinz Company since 2013. Before joining Heinz, Hees was the Chief Executive Officer of Burger King Worldwide, Inc., following its acquisition by 3G Capital Management in 2010. Hees also spent 12 years at American Latina Logistica (ALL), Latin America’s largest railroad and logistics provider, serving as CEO and a member of the board of directors from 2005-2010. He remains a partner at 3G Capital. Hees earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Catholic University in Rio de Janeiro (PUC-RJ). He holds an MBA from the University of Warwick in England and an OPM degree from Harvard Business School.
Paulo Basilio is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of The Kraft Heinz Company. He is responsible for all finance functions. Paulo joined Heinz in 2013 as Chief Financial Officer and has been a Partner of 3G Capital, Inc. since July 2012. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of America Latina Logistica (ALL) from 2010 to 2012 and also served as its Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Commercial Officer and Analyst. Paulo holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Universidade de Brasilia and a M.Sc. in economics from EPGE/Fundacao Getulio Vargas (FGV).
Melissa Werneck is the Senior Vice President of Global People, Performance and Information Technology for The Kraft Heinz Company. She is responsible for setting and cascading performance goals across the Company and overseeing the global human resources and information technology functions. Melissa joined Heinz in 2013 to implement the new performance methodology and the integrated management system. Prior to joining Heinz, Melissa served as Performance Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer at America Latina Logistica (ALL). Melissa received a degree in chemical engineering from Federal University of Minas Gerais in Brazil and an MBA from Federal University of Rio De Janeiro.
Jim Savina is the Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for The Kraft Heinz Company. He is responsible for the Company’s legal function, including corporate governance and securities, compliance, regulatory, intellectual property, litigation and labor and employment. He joined Kraft in 2013, serving in legal leadership positions and as Chief Compliance Officer. Jim holds a bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas and received his JD degree from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law.
Eduardo Pelleissone is the Executive Vice President of Global Operations for The Kraft Heinz Company. He is responsible for the Company’s global supply chain, quality, procurement and operations functions. Eduardo joined Heinz in 2013 as Head of Operations. Prior to Heinz, Eduardo worked for 14 years at America Latina Logistica (ALL), where he most recently served as CEO. During his time at ALL, he held roles including Chief Operating Officer, Managing Director and General Manager of Agricultural Products. Eduardo holds an MBA in logistics, operations and services from the Federal University of Rio De Janeiro.
Michael Mullen is the Senior Vice President of Corporate and Government Affairs for The Kraft Heinz Company. Michael is responsible for all global internal and external communications, corporate social responsibility, government affairs, global media relations and corporate reputation management. Michael is the Company’s chief media spokesperson and is also responsible for the Kraft Heinz Foundation, real estate and facilities. Michael joined Heinz in 1998 as Senior Communications Manager for Heinz North America. He holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations from the University of Wisconsin and an MPIA in international affairs from the University of Pittsburgh.
Carlos Piani is the Zone President of Canada for The Kraft Heinz Company. He joined Kraft Heinz in August 2015 and is responsible for leading all aspects of the Company’s Canadian business. Previously, he served as CEO of PDG Realty S.A., one of the largest listed homebuilders in Brazil. Piani has a degree in computer science from PUC/RJ (Brazil) and a bachelor’s degree in business from IBMEC/RJ (Brazil). He has also completed the Owner and President Management Program at Harvard Business School and is a Chartered Financial Analyst by CFA Institute.
Rafael Oliveira assumed his current role as Zone President, Europe in October 2016 after having served as the Managing Director of Kraft Heinz UK & Ireland. Mr. Oliveira joined Kraft Heinz in July 2014 and served as President of Kraft Heinz Australia, New Zealand and Papua until September 2016. Prior to joining Kraft Heinz, Mr. Oliveira spent 17 years in the financial industry. In the last ten years he held a variety of senior leadership positions with Goldman Sachs, a global investment banking, securities and investment management firm.
Marcos Romaneiro is the Zone President of AMEA for The Kraft Heinz Company. He joined Heinz in June 2013 as Senior Vice President of Global Finance and was appointed Zone President of Asia Pacific in June 2014. Prior to joining Heinz, he worked at 3G Capital, Inc., where he was responsible for evaluating, sourcing and executing private equity opportunities. Prior to that, he spent six years in private equity at Cerberus Capital Management and Vestar Capital Partners. Marcos holds a bachelor’s degree in business economics from Brown University.
Francisco Sa is the Zone President of Latin America for The Kraft Heinz Company. He joined Heinz in 2014 after a 15-year career with Anheuser-Busch InBev, where he was the Zone President for the Company’s Latin America South Business. He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Universidade Federal da Bahia and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley.
Emin Mammadov is the Executive Vice President of Global Foodservice for The Kraft Heinz Company. Emin’s contributions to the Company have spanned ten years and many countries. He joined Heinz in 2006 as Marketing Director for Russia, soon afterwards becoming Commercial Head for Russia. In 2010, he went to China as Managing Director, Heinz China Sauces and prior to his current role served as President of RIMEA from 2013.
George Zoghbi is Chief Operating Officer of the U.S. commercial business for The Kraft Heinz Company. He is responsible for leading all functions that drive the $19 billion+ U.S. business. George joined Kraft in 2007 as Vice President and Area Director of the company’s Australia and New Zealand region. He served as President of the U.S. Cheese and Dairy business from 2009-2014, in addition to leading the global export business. Previously, George held a variety of leadership roles at Fonterra, the world’s largest dairy exporter. George has a diploma in business, marketing, as well as a master’s of enterprise from the University of Melbourne. George also completed an Accelerated Development Program at MC London Business School in the United Kingdom.
Tom Lopez is the Head of the U.S. Beverages & Snack Nuts Business for The Kraft Heinz Company. He most recently held the positions of President of the U.S. Meal Solutions and Desserts business for Kraft Heinz and Vice President of Marketing for Refreshment Beverages at Kraft. While at Kraft, Tom held various marketing leadership positions, including Vice President of Marketing U.S. Growth Channels and Vice President of Marketing for Oscar Mayer Brands. Tom joined Kraft in 1999. Tom holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering management from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and a master’s degree from the University of Missouri-Rolla.
Eduardo Luz is the Head of the U.S. Meals & Sauces Business for The Kraft Heinz Company. He was previously President of U.S. Sauces & Frozen, a business unit that included the entire Kraft and Heinz ketchup, condiments, dressings and frozen portfolio. Eduardo joined Heinz in 2013 as Managing Director for Consumer Products, and in 2014 was promoted to serve as Zone President of Heinz North America. Prior to joining Heinz, Eduardo was the CEO of Flora, a Brazilian CPG Company. Eduardo also held executive positions with Unilever and AB InBev. He holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Howard Friedman is the Head of the U.S. Meat and Dairy Business for The Kraft Heinz Company. He was previously President of the U.S. Cheese and Dairy Business and prior to that, served as President of Kraft’s U.S. Cheese and Dairy Division. While at Kraft, Howard held numerous leadership positions, including President of the Walmart Sales Team and Senior Vice President of Marketing for the Cheese and Dairy Division. Howard joined Kraft in 1997 in the Post Cereal Division. Howard holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Dickinson College and an MBA from New York University.
Sergio Nahuz is the Head of U.S. Sales for The Kraft Heinz Company. He joined Heinz in 2013 as the CFO for Heinz Europe, and in 2014 was promoted to Managing Director of Consumer Products for the U.S. Business, where he was responsible for the U.S. consumer products P&Ls and managing customer and brand business units. He previously he worked at America Latina Logistica (ALL) in various senior commercial roles. In 2013, Sergio graduated from the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
Andre Maciel is the Head of U.S. Commercial Finance for The Kraft Heinz Company. He is responsible for U.S. budget and business planning, zero based budgeting, revenue management and integration. Andre joined Heinz in 2013 as the Global Leader of Budget and Business Planning, ZBB and Revenue Management. Prior to joining Heinz, Andre worked at Anheuser-Busch InBev, McKinsey and Accenture. Andre has extensive international experience, having worked for more in ten different countries over the past 15 years and has worked in four post-merger integrations. At Anheuser-Busch, Andre was responsible for revenue management, marketing ROI, commercial analytics and ZBB. Andre received a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Escola Politecnica da Universidade de São Paulo and an MBA from INSEAD in France.
Nina Barton is the Senior Vice President of Marketing, Innovation, Research & Development for The Kraft Heinz Company. She most recently served as Vice President of Marketing for Coffee at Kraft. Nina joined Kraft in 2011 as Senior Marketing Director where she was responsible for growing the Philadelphia Cream Cheese brand. Prior to joining Kraft, Nina held numerous marketing and leadership positions at Johnson & Johnson, L’Oréal, and Procter & Gamble. Nina holds a bachelor’s of Commerce from McGill University and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
David Toy is the President, U.S. Foodservice and KFI for The Kraft Heinz Company. David is responsible for setting the go-to-market direction and maximizing the growth and profitability of the Foodservice division of Kraft Heinz in the U.S. Previously David served as Managing Director of Heinz’s North America Foodservice business. David joined Heinz in 2008 in the Finance/IT function. He holds a bachelor’s degree from The College of Wooster and an MBA from Vanderbilt University.
